Small-batch aromatic chili oil, made in Toronto
Rippah Chili Oil was started by Nicola Scott, who grew up in suburban Australia with a parent from Hong Kong and spent childhood trips eating through South East Asia's hawker markets. After moving to Toronto she couldn't find a chili oil with the depth she remembered, so she made her own. In June 2024 she left her corporate HR job to make Rippah full time. The O.G. is built on lemongrass, lime leaf and tamarind: the heat creeps up and the brightness lingers.
